Phoebe Hunt… winner of the 2012 Songwriter’s Serenade in Moravia, TX
This Saturday I was invited to Moravia, TX as a semi-finalist in their annual Songwriter’s Serenade. I was in the top 25 out of 149 entries. I sang “No Anger” and felt like I had a great performance. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to the finals. The winner, Phoebe Hunt, was phenomenal. She has a bright career ahead of her. Here’s a video I found of her on YouTube (this is NOT from the songwriter’s serenade).
My friends Clint Howell and Nelson Flores were kind enough to invite me to play in their showcase on Friday, March 16 at the East Ave. Lounge.

Thanks to Ray for the great harmonies and Aly for rockin that shaker! This was a great night and one I’ll always remember. These pros made me feel like I belonged up there with them

It was a great show on Saturday night and a fantastic turn out. I don’t think Flipnotics has EVER had that many people inside it.
